The Lilac Cottage scroll the image below

Lilac cottage is a cozy and compact one-story house. Contemporary residents live in the old structure. The exterior walls of the cottage borrowed Pam Throop's method of plastering "ancient" walls - using Elmer's Carpenter Wood Filler as a base - (Miniature Collector- June 2002, p. 35.) It was a lengthy process, but worked very well.

The front entry features a wire basket of ivy by R-Stuff, a bench by Richards, and a fuchsia basket by Debbie's Tiny Treasures.

There are three rooms with a bathroom opening off the bedroom.

The Kitchen:

The tiny kitchen has a hanging plate rack by M&R Miniatures and a basket of dish towels by Little Lodgings. The Kitchen Captive made the filled shelf over the stove.
